    got in to see Dr Downer in Seattle on 12-4!! Very happy about it.

    Hopefully surgery and relief not to far away.

    I was doing a search on Hip labral tears and came across your site. I am a Leukemia patient currently in remission since May 08.

    As a bonus I ended up with a hip labral tear diagnosis confirmed with an MRA in September.

    Problem, I cant find a surgeon. I had a consultation at OHSU but the doctor went on medical leave. I am frantically looking for a replacement. The best I could do is a doc in SF at UCSF. Looking for someone in Oregon if possible.

    My UCSF consult is not unti 12-29 which is a tough considering the pain I am in and the amount of Vicodin I am taking every day.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?
